The SDL-1 Easy Latch Back safety latching device is designed to secure hinged doors in an open position against the side of the trailer.
The simple operation of the SDL-1 substantially increases proper door latching which substantially decreases the number of dangerous on the job accidents, and helps prevent the costly loss of doors.

Easy To Install
The SDL-1 comes pre-assembled and ruggedly constructed. Drill one 7/8” mounting hole in side of trailer approximately 36” from the end of the trailer, insert the SDL-1 Easy Latch Back, then secure
system in place with the included 7/8-14 HD jam nut.

Easy To Maintain
The SDL-1 features a 1/2” stainless steel spring loaded latch bar, plated body, and aluminum fasteners to resist corrosion, and end plug features
a grease fitting for long lasting use.

Easy To Use
All types of hinged trailer doors can be secured by the SDL-1. Just pull out the 1/2” stainless steel latch bar and place against the open door
or over the bottom of the lock bar (the SDL-1 will need to be
mounted appropriately to catch the lock bar).
It will hold the door tightly against the side of the trailer and provide better visibility to the back of trailer.

Drivers will use this system!
Use only light weight grease to lubricate the SDL-1.
Rod end can be modified to hook the lock rod.

SDL-2 EASY LATCH BACK

The SDL-2 Easy Latch Back operates the same as the SDL-1,
but differs from it in a few key ways. It has a yellow zinc plated bracket
that allows the SDL-2 to be mounted underneath the trailer leaving
the side of it untouched and clean.
Just measure approximately 36 inches from end of trailer, drill four holes through I-beam and install unit to floor supports.
The SDL-2 also has a larger stainless steel latch (9/16" diameter).

Easy To Install
Drill four, 5/16” holes in I-beam/floor supports approximately 36” from the end of the trailer. Make sure that the unit is under the side of the trailer and the 9/16” latch bar is flush with the side of the trailer.

9/16” Stainless steel latch bar and a plated body to resist corrosion, steel fastener and end plug with grease fitting for long lasting effortless use.

Easy To Use
Secures all types of hinged trailer doors. Just pull it out and place against the open door or place over bottom of lock bar. It will hold the door against the side of the trailer and allow the driver to see the back of the trailer
Must use light weight grease on all units.
We can modify the end of rod to hook the lock rod.

Easy To Install
Drill two 1/4” holes and mount to the side rail approximately 36” from the back of the trailer. Use with existing chain assembly or an optional chain can be provided upon request.

The SDL-3 requires virtually no maintenance.
Stainless steel construction resists corrosion.

Easy To Use
Just lift the 1/4” stainless steel wire latch, insert the chain end, and let the wire fall back into place to secure door against the side of the trailer.
To release, just lift the latch and remove the chain.
